Description

Really fun and varied climbing on this great little unit. Pull big, steep moves off giant jugs and features down low to a good rest at mid-height. Wrangle the tufa and blobs for a couple of bolts before a technical and crimpy crux and a not-quite-as-good-as-you-hoped tufa pinch below the huge tufa curtain. Climb up and right of the tufa curtain to a tough anchor clip.

Location

Near the middle of the main wall. The route name is painted on the rock at the base.

Protection

~11 bolts to lowering anchor

[Hide Comment] Woah, this climb alone is worth a trip to Secret Garden. There is a move towards the top where you pinch a flared tufa fin and gently rock a foot up insecurely before launching for the biggest jug ever. I instinctually said "so fucking rad" to myself and the German climber hanging on a rope to my left said, "oh it's not bad, just pumpy". I love the international scene here. Sep 23, 2019
[Hide Comment] Clipping before the crux is hard. Recommend extending the draw. A little beta intensive to remain efficient throughout. Clipping the anchor is also reachy.

It's a fun route with nice movement. The first 1/3 is positive holds and steep. The middle 1/3 is technical and vertical with a nice rest. The last 1/3 is sustained until you're past the crux. May 17, 2022
[Hide Comment] Fun juggy overhung tufa, then techy vertical middle section, then jug again to the anchor with one last problem to solve (for me as a short person). Felt soft 7a+ compared to other 7a+. Oct 26, 2023
