Description

A striking overhanging arete that climbs as good as it looks. Most of the climb is pure arete climbing, with hands and feet milking unlikely holds on either side of the feature.

I had been eyeballing this line for years from across the canyon. I was finally drawn in, and all control was turned over to The Sampler.

Location

Right side of crag, obvious arete

Protection

8 bolts and lower biners

I would love to see the 12d beta for this route. Hell... I'd love to see the 5.13 beta for this route. Sep 17, 2017

IMHO this is probably the best pure arête on the mountain and quite possibly one of the best anywhere. Continuously interesting moves on both sides of the arête. Apr 14, 2014
