Description

This route is somewhat speculative as the difficult section (10 feet of featureless white rock) is in the middle of an otherwise easy 5.7 climb. The section is well bolted with only short slip potential. It can be avoided by climbing around to right after clipping bolt at beginning section and skipping next bolt. Doing this runs it out a bit but the rock is good. Route has had few ascents so it needs input as to grade

Location

Around buttress 40 feet to the right of Cactus Kiss.

It's a short sequence over the polished mantle/bulge, and felt like 10c slab was pretty spot on. Only reason to climb this is for the bulge problem, and if not doing that might as well just the bolt line to the right (IMO). Well protected at the crux, getting to it has no pro, but is low 5th. Fun sequence of moves through the crux. 3 days ago
