DescriptionThis circa 1975 crack/face route begins directly below the the large chimney crack that extends down from the top for about 1/3 of the upper expanse of the face. Our summit attempt ended below this chimney. The expanse beyond our high point is mildly steep angle slab-like friction face climbing with little natural protection. We were getting 2 bolt holes per bit in this hard rock for the non-carbide bits of the day. Some retreat biners are still on the hangers.
LocationBegin in small cracks about in the center of this SE face and directly below a large upper face chimney.
