Description Suggest change

This circa 1975 crack/face route begins directly below the the large chimney crack that extends down from the top for about 1/3 of the upper expanse of the face. Our summit attempt ended below this chimney. The expanse beyond our high point is mildly steep angle slab-like friction face climbing with little natural protection. We were getting 2 bolt holes per bit in this hard rock for the non-carbide bits of the day. Some retreat biners are still on the hangers.

Location Suggest change

Begin in small cracks about in the center of this SE face and directly below a large upper face chimney.

Protection Suggest change

Friends and nuts with some small.
