Description

Sedona style stout jamming in a steep, left leaning crack! Heady part for the crack climber will be the short face with relatively poor pro (i.e. black/blue Alien or BD C3 cams) to get you to the ledge. Getting up into the crack is probably the crux and the reward is a good taste of jamming.

Location

The prominent left leaning crack on the feature.

Protection

Single rack to #4, maybe doubles of #4 and #3. I didn't use a #5, but I didn't have one.

Definitely burly compared to the others on this wall, though the crux of Hufflepuff is tough too even though I rated it slightly easier -- kind of depends on your off width head and whether you find the key holds on the on sight. Fun to get on this one again after watching Brian on sight it. Mar 27, 2016

Great climb with a burly crux. Start was a bit heady but all there. No 5 needed but bring you off width game. Mar 30, 2014
