Master Cylinder - V2/3

Master Cylinder moves up the slightly slabby face left of the mini dihedral, the dihedral itself is off for this line.

Start low on obvious edges, move carefully upward on suspect crimps to a spooky move up high. Best not to entirely trust any of the edges here.

there is a cool V3ish variation that DOES use the dihedral.

Location

on the path above the Shogun boulder.

Protection

A nice size pad is good, some crimps are dubious.

I was mistaken. I'm thinking of a completely different boulder. Oops! Nov 23, 2015

Are we sure this is the same problem? The link says "left of Shogun", this face sits up the hill and down the trail from shogun, prolly 100 yards away or more... and I had to clear bushes and scrub years of lichen to get this into shape... Its also not even close to V4, more like V2 ... and, its not an arete, its a face climb. But, let me know, im down to update the listing to make sure its accurate. And that goes for anything i've posted here, want it to be accurate; not concerned with getting credit :) Jul 12, 2014

This problem is named Wells Done. Originally graded V4 from the sit Ryan Wells FA around the same time Justin put up Shogun.
