Description

Thin crux down low, at about the 3rd bolt. Mid-.10 climbing afterwards. The original route starts about 10' to the left and apparently involves stemming off a dead tree. This start is more direct, but a little harder.

Location

First bolted route on the wall past "Freedom Isn't Free", just right of a large dead tree.

Protection

11 bolts, rap anchors.

There are three starts here, I think each must have been put in trying to avoid current locations of poison oak. The farthest right option was most clear of poison oak, but a fall would land you right in the thick of it. Great onsight motivation. It would be three stars if the poison oak was chopped.

I'm curious about how "Shitfaced" 5.9 fits into this. Was a bolt removed from an anchor to merge the two routes, or does Shitfaced continue through that bushy section? I should have counted bolts. Sep 10, 2017
