Wilderness Study Area Details
RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Description

This is the furthest left route and a crag classic. Start up a white slab on small exfoliating holds to a decent pod. From the pod climb up and right and then move back left to arrive at the right side of the black and blue streaks. Continue up the streak on amazingly solid and sustained holds.

Location

Furthest left route on the wall. Around 40' right of the center of the cave.

Protection

10 bolts to fixed anchors.

Wanders a little bit, kind of a gnarly slab to start - but otherwise it borders on perfection. Must do 13b, and tick off Day One while you're at it. Promised Land is amazing! Feb 17, 2014
I think Jason Campbell got a flash on this one. Good looking route, glad people are making the hike. Feb 15, 2014
