New Mexico > Taos Area > John Dunn Bridg… > New Petroglyphs Bould…

Description

About 2/3 of the way west along the cliffband is a stellar arete with a little spiral design chiseled into the rock. Sit start with right hand in little pocket to right of arete, right hand on whatever feels biggest. Slap up arete to topout.

Location

at ledge, traverse right and down climb easy terrain. Left looks easy but has lots of loose rock. Just to the left is a great warm up hand crack and a finger crack. The right face of the arete is a balancy, technical slab that is fun.

Protection

2 pads
