Description

The first route done on this wall. On the left side, up terraced hill. Zig zag route with the crux being the left ward finger traverse near the top. After the hand crack start there is a right leaning traverse, and then the left crux traverse, if you go straight up before the right traverse it is a 5.8 variation.

Location

2nd route in from the left, the first is a 5.7 crack

Protection

standard rack to 3". The crux takes small cams. Use long slings to help with rope drag.

This climb has the one hard crux getting started on the last leftward finger traverse. The feet aren't very good but there is a good finger lock just a few moves in. Bring some small nuts to protect the crux. Apr 8, 2016
