RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

Experienced climbers should not expect to much here. that said; this is an excellent, well protected short little climb on a cool tower great for beginning leaders or less experienced climbers. stellar views and great photo ops.
it certainly seems that this thing must have been climbed before though we found no evidence of that.

191 and river road. obvious little tower just left of the abandoned chair lift (north end of town). hike faint trail up from the toe at the parking lot. climb the south east side. one super short rap off back down the route.

one quickdraw. (very optional .75 camalot or a couple med stoppers).

Climb is a 2 move boulder problem only 8 feet high with a bad landing; we soloed it up and then back down. The highlight of this little adventure is checking out the cable car terminal and surrounding area up top. Maybe a good first tower for beginners. Apr 7, 2015

This is a fun little adventure. The climb is one move to pull onto the top of the tower. Not really a climb, but great views and a fun rap off the side if you'd like. Feb 7, 2015
