Description

Climb the right leaning flake-crack.

Location

One right right of I Double-Dog-Adair Ya. Middle of the ledge you scramble up to start a few routes.

Protection

2 bolts, sport anchors.

Not a fan of MP's system of allowing user ratings to affect how the grade appears when one opens the page.

This route has a 5.8+ grade in the local guidebook and used to here. Someone came along and gave a sole suggested grade, which happened to be 5.6. While this route might be 5.6 in some sandbagged areas I have climbed in, it is not 5.6 relative to other 5.6 routes here. It is notably tougher than its 5.7 next-door neighbor.

It took me longer to type this than it did to climb it, lol. Still, a 5.6 leader is probably not going to be happy on this at all. May 18, 2018
