Access Issue: Private Property Climb Only When Open to Climbing Details
GS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. SCPC works hard to maintain a good relationship with landowners as well as raise the funds necessary annually to pay the lease and insurance. You must register at SCPC's Mailing List BEFORE visiting. The reason for this is to contact everyone in the event of a access change. Register your email at scpclimbers.org/.
Access Issue: The circuit is closed until futher notice Details
ACCESS UPDATE: The circuit is closed until futher notice. Access to the area is being negotiated. Please respect the closed / no tresspassing signs posted near the pyramid and stay out of the circuit until further notice. The rest of GS is open.
This is the mantel escape described in the problem Open Circuit (V7). Start at the beginning of Open Circuit (aka Slopey Circ), grab some cool veiny jug holds, and mantel on them with your feet under the overhang, onto a slab and top out. The key is a strong left heel hook perch. This is one of my favorite mantels at the Stables; in an area full of quality frictiony mantels!
On a boulder the end of the Circuit area facing downhill. Between Thin Circ Arete and Polar Bear. The problem named Open Circuit described on this website is a slightly contrived traverse extension to this problem.
