Description

Acorn Nightmares starts as far underneath the west face as possible. It starts with the same three or four finger pocket as Acorn Dreams, but hold it with the left hand. The right hand starts in a undercling, full pad pocket. Set another heel hook at the bottom of the crimper face. Move right into small left sidepull, and throw to a jug on the right. Dance the feet across to high heel on the far right. Reach up for bomber crimp above your head, and power up for those jugs.

Location

This is on the west face of the Hidden Boulder.

Protection

None.

[Hide Comment] The large center block under this rock has broken off removing the heel hook and opening up several great foot holds. This has made this route very contrived. At best, it's a V3 now, I've attached a new photo to get this a little closer to a V3 by starting at the same start as Acorn Dreams. Mar 29, 2024
