Just Because You're Paranoid Doesn't Mean They Are Not After You

FA: Bryan Burdo (1995)
Washington > Central-W Casca… > N Bend & Vicinity > Exit 38 > Mt Washington > Club Paradiso / The A…

Description

Dirty jugs for three bolts to an intermediate anchor, you might want to call it here. If not, mantle into some dirt and climb through two more bolts. Then climb the two bolt overhanging headwall and wonder if 5.8 can really be this hard, maybe some holds are buried?... You'd have to dig 'em up to find out.

Location

Literally the Club Paradiso waterfall.

Protection

7 bolts, 2 chain anchors.

[Hide Comment] The middle part looks quite dirty, and there are 2 chains around the 3rd bolt - looks like most people only climb that far. Aug 24, 2016
[Hide Comment] Nice climb, vertical but pretty easy. Upper half (after you pass 2 chains around the 3rd bolt) is pretty dirty. Be careful to not tangle your rope in small crag just below the chains, there's a risk for your rope to stuck there. Aug 7, 2017
[Hide Comment] Only worth doing if you're already here. Aug 17, 2019
[Hide Comment] Wow. What a journey. Maybe it's me but the top out felt harder than any move on Trappline, and Mr Big. Has anyone else ever climbed to the true top? Oct 13, 2024
