Description

Queen Cobra starts on the right side of the rectangular buttress right of Cupcake Corner and left of Hooded Cobra and continues straight up through the upper roof slightly right of The Fang icicles. The extension, which traverses left past two additional bolts at the lip of the roof, is useful when the icicles have collapsed, enabling one to get into the truncated ice on the left side.

Location

This goes up the right side of rectangular buttress to the right of Cupcake Corner. Lower or rappel off two bolt anchor at the top of The Fang.

Protection

Queen Cobra: 15 bolts.

Queen Cobra Extension: 17 bolts and the two bolt anchor at the top of The Fang.

[Hide Comment] King Cobra does not climb Hooded Cobra. They are separate routes. Hooded Cobra starts in the right-facing corner on the right side of the buttress and pulls through a black-colored roof. King Cobra starts on the face of the buttress to the left of Hooded Cobra and continues straight up, always staying left of Hooded. Jan 31, 2022
