Description

Eternal August aka "SpreadEagleNebula" is on the narrow, very steep "Ares Face" just right of the main arĂȘte. It ascends the face directly, spectacularly avoiding anything easy; the arĂȘte, the 2 inch ledge, and the Son of Hera horn, using only 5.10+ holds until a loose 5.11 crux is encountered near the top. (Top rope rehearsal before solo)

(photos pending)

Protection

a pad and directional spotting; this boulder problem has a dangerous fall line and loose, grainy holds

lots of different opinions on how V ratings convert to YDS; I'd say this V3 translates to 5.11b/c
