Access Issue: Climbing Access Open - Keep a low profile.
Details
Climbing in the canyon is legal, but please maintain a low profile. Please leave no trace to minimize the chances of the park closing to climbers.
Description
Climb on the N side of the Dolphin. Nice, huge, sand-filled huecos provide a clean route to the top. Avoid the choss to the right of the route.
Protection
the anchor on top of this boulder is expansion and should NOT be used for top roping this route- it was used for rappelling and cleaning the boulder in lieu of webbing- webbing can be used to create a TR anchor from a tree on the West side of the boulder, but you will need 100+ ft. to get the job done. The FA of this route was done rope less, just keep in mind that the quality of the rock is relatively poor if you choose to boulder this climb.
