Clear route up the slab, past big flakes.

Standard rack of nuts and cams. Tree at the top sometimes has a fixed anchor, better to walk off climber's left.

I'm not sure I remember this one being Grade V. Maybe fifth class though ... And there are not steel cables at top currently. Thanks goes to whoever put the rap station up there. (as pictured) There was some discussion whether this is a Gunks 5.6, and there answer is 'probably not.' A Gunks 5.4, like Bunny? But it is a nice 90 ft route with lots of friction, a beautiful view, and decent pro if you're strong at the grade.

CLimbed 2/28/16 and there are no rap rings/ webbing around the tree. Feb 29, 2016

Best of the Three Bears wall I thought. Compared to Cam's Cool Chimney (also Trad 5.6) This is way easier. No rap rings/webbing at top, but trees and boulders at the top make for easy anchors. Jun 23, 2016

Ted - that's the next step is standardizing the grades across the whole Powerlinez. So Papa Bear is 5.5, then Cam's Cool Chimney is a 5.6+ maybe. Dec 30, 2016
