Description

"Heart" climbs into and through the large heart shaped depression that gives the "Heart Wall" it's name. Once established in the "Heart" pull a deep 3-finger pocket and poor crumbly inclusions to surmount the overhang and into a large, but shallow depression. Once established in the depression, clip the 2nd bolt, and continue up the steep wall on amazing pockets and knobs to the left side of a huge protruding block. Climb onto the block to reach the anchor.

Location

Begin climbing up a large heart shaped cavity or depression.

Protection

10 bolts & 2-ring Fixe anchor.

After doing an 11 in the canyon earlier in the day, I was surprised to get stumped in between bolts 1 and 2. Something must have broken but after the pocket it is difficult to gain height for the shallow depression. May 17, 2018

Perhaps a bit of a sandbag, as I've been told I can't climb 5.11, but nothing has broken off. Grab the hole with your left hand, stem up the "heart," Palm the top of the large inclusion with your right hand, and pull like a mother until you can reach the depression and the second bolt. May 19, 2018
