Description [Suggest Change]

Gain a vegetated ledge 2/3rds the way up, then fire off into some sweet face and arete moves. Super fun movement.

The crux is high on the arete. The line takes you on an adventure!

The lower part requires a bit of balance.

Equipped by Jeff Engel.

Location [Suggest Change]

This route takes the dihedral on the right side of the booty wall.

Protection [Suggest Change]

GI bolts - very well protected, just don't blow it while wandering up the ledge to the top part of the climb

Couldn't find this one in the guidebook and even though the climb looked really intimidating I had to try it. Pretty scary to lead. Gaining that ledge halfway up is awesome and the climb felt like such an adventure doing it onsight. Took a pretty nasty fall and smashed my knees/legs into the wall but it was totally worth it. What an awesome climb. Careful though. May 1, 2015

This might be one of the most under rated 10's in Sandstone. The page says balancy start, but it's more of a stem problem to me.

The bottom 2/3 of the climb is really fun, but big block at the top with the last two bolts and the chains are where this one sparkles.

Other than the stated runout on the big ledge, the route is pretty well bolted. Apr 30, 2017
