TOOTIE FRUITY 5.4 ** 75'’ F (6b)
Sustained and surprisingly fun climbing up the face directly below the chain anchors. About 25'’ left of “A Mighty Wind”, begin up the edge of the broken arete left of the alcove. May seem hard for the grade, especially for a shorter climber.

3rd from right

fixed - 6 bolts, although some gear also possible

Had a great evening climbing this one and the ones next to it. I'm new to leading and this one was a good confidence builder although in hindsight it sure seemed harder than a 5.2. I really appreciated the patience from James who introduced me to the crag. All of the routes here could use a little cleaning, but probably more than that is they just need people climbing them more often. We did have a rattlesnake slither by us at the base of the climb right when I got down...could explain why this area doesn't get a lot of traffic. May 22, 2016

Yes, it is a stiff 5.2 - like something you'd expect to find in the Gunks (except with bolts). Maybe it should be named "Fourish". May 23, 2016
