Description

This fun, short route climbs the clean-looking finger crack in the left-facing corner.

Start by climbing up the chossy choss band, which fortunately is well protected by bolts. Gain a stance below the crack, clip a bolt, and jam/stem/lieback your way through the bulge to a good stance above. A few more easy moves gains the anchors.

Location

This route is located on the left side of the huge buttress as you enter Main Elk from Pup Tent. It is the next route left of Velociraptor.

Protection

8 bolts; anchor with lowering biners.

The extension to this is really good. It seemed about 12a or 12b. Does anyone know what Jeff is calling it? Jan 18, 2014

I agree; the extension to the top of cliff is worth getting on. 5.12a, 8 more bolts to the anchors, a 60-meter rope will barely get you down. Jeff called it "Leapin' Lizards". Apr 22, 2014
