[Hide Comment] As a new trad leader I thought this was a short but fun corner crack with decent stances to place solid gear. A bit of easy adventure climbing to find the start of the route though. Was belayed from the tree on the ledge where someone has left a couple of slings, but probably could/should have belayed from the next ledge up which is the real base of the climb. But as I said, finding the start was an adventure and it wasn't really a problem anyway. Besides, it made the climb that much longer with only minimal added rope drag.

Beta Spoiler Alert: For the new leaders who want it: I happened to have doubles of #3 and #2 Camalots and that's all I ended up using by back cleaning one of the 3s and placing it again. It probably takes smaller cams too if placed a bit deeper but not certain of that.

I plan on climbing it again. Jun 27, 2017
