[Hide Comment] Avoid this route. It is garbage. Ugly movement and bad fall potential. A lot of people get on it. I have yet to see someone enjoy it. Dec 14, 2014

[Hide Comment] Didnt have a guide book so my buddy and I started our day off on this climb thinking it was easier. The way I went was pretty far left of the bolts. A fall wouldve resulted in quite the swing. Big move towards the top, lie back with a small foot. Feb 5, 2015

[Hide Comment] Not a great route. Unsure of the intended path, with a pretty hazardous fall potential despite the bolts. Wouldn't waste your time on this one. Nov 6, 2016

[Hide Comment] Not a lot of love for Spiny Trouble, it seems.
The finish is insecure enough that it could spell trouble.
I would truly hate to see a fall onto the ledge. This route is one of those cases where retro-bolting is deserved and ought to be considered.
Otherwise, I’d add my vote to those above—stay away. Oct 29, 2018
