Description

Work your way up the big vertical crack to the horizontal crack. Traverse across to the right and then top out on the right corner of the boulder. Feet are a little hard to find.

Location

The Oliphant Boulder is located just to the right of the road leading up under the powerlines. It's right on the road.

Protection

Crashpad and a spotter or two is always a good idea, especially when you're crossing in front of the tree.

Comments [Hide ALL Comments]

[Hide Comment] The large boulder that sits in the middle of the crack has become very loose lately. It can actually start twisting if you pull on it. I'd highly suggest skipping it, which potentially makes this v3. Apr 7, 2016

[Hide Comment] That chock stone isn't going anywhere... Dec 3, 2016
[Hide Comment] Didn't realize you were supposed to traverse right so I went straight up. There's a nice fingerlock for topping out Apr 16, 2018

[Hide Comment] Fun warmup problem, landing is flat and just short enough to get by without a spotter. Sep 24, 2020
