Climb the grey rock up to the the ledge. Mostly jugs with an interesting mantle to the ledge.


First route on New Roman, just around the corner from Acree Prime on Roman Wall.

The anchors on this route sit deeply inlayed past the ledge you top out on, so to avoid rope rubbing across the edge of the rock (giving you a really slow pull and possibly damaging to your rope) I'd recommend each person lead this route as opposed to climbing it on top rope. Similarly, to avoid rubbing on the edge, I would self belay down after cleaning as opposed to other methods so that the rope does not grind the corner of the rock. Dec 14, 2016
