Description

Use big holds to attain an awkward stance on some sharp flakes. Work up left, and then shift right, reaching (lunging) for some shelf allowing you to pass the overhang to the right in a small steep corner with a couple strenous mantles.

Location

The Entropy Area is the overhanging face along the river around the corner downstream from Romeo's Ladder. Lunging Ledges is the most obvious line in the middle of the face about 20 ft right of an old bolt ladder, and below and small overhang some 25 ft above.

Protection

top rope anchors around nearby tree

Photos

Barry is working the direct version which excludes the large flakes to the left, and is hard 5.10. Very delicate footwork. Oct 8, 2013
