Start sitting with two decent edges just right of the blunt arete, below an obvious vertical face.

Proceed more or less straight upwards via tricky footwork and small, painful crimps. The final reachy move can be a heartbreaker.

Finger strength and a high tolerance for pain are prerequisites for success on this climb. Despite the painful holds, this climb is quite good and worth trying!

I cleaned this off a bit and chalked up the crimps nicely the other day. I was way too tired from working Stanfield's to finish this but I was getting close. The top still could use some more cleaning. I feel like this line is way underrated and overlooked. I think this climb is awesome and needs to see more sends, but then again its my perfect style.

Despite the general dirtiness of this section of the boulder, all the holds you need are clean. It does seep a bit at the top but as far as I could tell, despite being dripped on the whole time I was working on it, the wetness stays away from every hold you need, including the last hold way up.

This is probably the best 7 at the Pond. May 4, 2015
