Description

This is the route that named the wall.
A thin vertical crack with a horizontal crack 2/3 way up. The crux is passing the cross but finishing is no easy feat either. Many hard moves very few rests.
The bottom is a little funky to protect but the crux is solid.

Protection

TCU to finger size cams and nuts
bolted anchor

[Hide Comment] Rated the climb as a PG-13 route because the bottom is kinda funky to protect. There is a mandatory cruxy (5.10ish R) section with possible ground fall down low. I recommand bringing crashpads at first. The 5.12 moves are very well protected. Definitely a classic line! May 4, 2017

[Hide Comment] La classic trad de Rigaud , le gear beta est pas facile mais la protection est bonne . Aug 6, 2021

[Hide Comment] Although probably PG13/R on the onsight, the gear is all there for a headpoint.
There is a funky (but good) placement that completely mitigates the ground fall potential. Nov 10, 2021
