Access Issue: Located in a National Forest Fee Area Details

Description [Suggest Change]

A slightly tricky start leads to a narrow ledge about halfway up. An initially blank-seeming face reveals glorious pockets and leads to a wonderful and intimidating roof with some balancy moves using tricky-to-find handholds. The final bit to the chains requires a bit of thought and body positioning.

Going straight over the roof is more rewarding, but a bit harder than following the path of least resistance.

Location [Suggest Change]

Starts between two large evergreen trees. The third line from the left on the buttress.

Protection [Suggest Change]

8 bolts, chain anchors.

This route is very rewarding; it provides great rests (without easy sections) between thoughtful climbing! Sep 22, 2013

Beware of the pokey pocket near the first bolt. Encountered no loose rock. The final moves to the chains gave me nice pump. Jun 14, 2015
