Description

Climbs the pretty purple tinged rock through the roof and onto the yellow face above. Delicate face climbing leads to a sidepull problem below the roof. Figure it out, clip the bolt above, and head up to the technical, puzzling crux. After the next bolt, easier terrain leads to the anchor.

Location

Just right of Mardi Gras, climbs the same roof.

This was the 2nd climb I did at Louise. I intended to get on the 10a. When I got to the sidepull sequence I though it felt hard for the grade. I onsighted and suggested a grade of 5.10d to my partner. Since getting a better feel for the grading at Louise, it feels about 11a/11b. Aug 6, 2016
