Where is it? How do I know which route it is?
Also, I'm sure you can do better than "short crux section down low". What's it like?Think of it as creative writing class. Elaborate man!!

For e.g, see the route description for the rig right next to this one:

Sorry, J. It's been over fifteen years since I was there. It used to appear in the old Wild Iris guide. First ascent Heidi Badaracco. I remember Amy Skinner used to recommend it as a great first 13 to acquaint people with the stout bouldery pulls at the Iris! :-) But it is to the right of the giant overhanging bulges of Rising from the Plains wall. It's a dead vertical section a bit to the right of there. Jul 24, 2014

No worries Erik. Thanks for the info and interesting bit of history. I'll take a peek in my old Piana guide and see if there is any info to add. Cheers man. Jul 29, 2014

Respectfully Jonny, the point of my post went "pfffft" over your head (and apparently your reading comprehension is lacking too because my post points out that I own a book). The point of MP is to add information that "goes beyond the guidebook" not simply to plagiarize from a book. Perhaps that's why I referenced a well-written description in my post, eh? And it seems pretty clear from Erik's lighthearted response that he understood my gentle ribbing. Jul 10, 2017

To clarify, on the right side of the chaps wall, there are two black streaks, Tres Amigos on the right and Chaps on the left. This route is just to the left of chaps. It climbs a steeper white bulge at first. There are a few incipient seams at the beginning. All of these routes now have glue-ins which can be hard to see. Apr 28, 2018
