Be sure to bring plenty of draws for this thing or you'll end up having to back clean it like we did. Fun route!

[Hide Comment] A nice, moderate line with grin-inducing, juggy features. An oddity for Mount Lemmon.

I found the placement of the first bolt a bit baffling. I scrambled around the small headwall that the bolt is in, skipping it. May 31, 2014
[Hide Comment] John, the first bolt is there to keep you from hitting the ground incase someone fell going up the gully that takes you to the second bolt. The intent was to clip it and move directly right and then up the left leaning gully to the second bolt. Most people skip the first bolt. Jun 1, 2014

[Hide Comment] Final move to get to the anchors is a bit tough for the grade, closer to a 5.9 overhang. 5.8 climbers in our party couldn't top out, and a nearby party couldn't clean the anchors by themselves because that single last overhang move. It's worth not sending an iffy leader to put it up. Aug 14, 2016
[Hide Comment] Beautiful route to end the day on. Just be sure to look over the fixed gear before you lower off, noticed that one of the oval links had come unscrewed from pressure against the rock. May 23, 2018
