Description

Probably the best route here. The route is a really fun traverse over neck deep water (in between tides). You'll have to take a boat/kayak out there, you could maybe swim but it may be hard to get up onto the ledge if you don't have something to stand on. Start on the ledge to the left of the wall, and traverse right, staying lower to avoid vegetation. Lots of cool limestone pockets throughout the climb. Starts out slightly overhanging, then goes to vertical as you go around an bulge/arĂȘte (first crux) and to a great no hands rest. The rock stays vertical as you continue to traverse but gets slightly less featured as you go around a second arĂȘte/bulge (second crux) over slightly shallower water (like waist deep in between tides) and then it's onto easier ground until the ending ledge. The water over the right ledge is shallower, so use caution when you jump in, depending on the tide.

Location

Go along the cliffline towards the mouth of the harbor. You might not be able to see the wall until you get up to it. Once you get to what looks like an cool overhanging hard boulder problem with a somewhat dicey fall, you need to go maybe another 50-100 feet. The wall is maybe 15 feet high with ledges on either end. The route was originally climbed left to right but you could go either way.

Protection

Deep water underneath with super clean falls.

Just passed the crux. Look at all those pockets ! Very nice rock. I went with scuba diving shoes, that was okay!

[Hide Comment] A bit short.
Nice start below the vegetation. Many pockets, pretty easy at start. The rock is pretty solid. I went during high tide and decided to jump from the top at the end of the short traverse. I would advise to go at high tide Jul 9, 2023
