Description

New route on the far north of the crag in the shaded slot. Right of Sand Puppy. Sandy rock leads to better holds up top with the crux just before the chain anchors. Not the best route at the crag, but another quick option for climbing in the shade of the narrow slot.

Tightened all of the bolts and anchor today. By my inspection, all looks tight and safe. Will keep an eye on things. Nov 1, 2017
My partner did this route in May or early June 2017 and we noticed a couple of the bolts on the way up were spinners but both of the anchor bolts actually wiggled. Cool route but would not recommend climbing until it's been rebolted Jul 21, 2017

Took me a couple tries I fell and didn't hit the other side. Sep 20, 2015

I really like this route. It's nice to get back in the corner when the area gets crowded. Some very fun moves, even though it is VERY sandy through the first couple clips.

Didn't have a wrench on me, but bolt 2 (right above the ledge) was a spinner as of 5/21 May 23, 2015

The bottom is really sandy, the top is really sequence dependent. This feels like a boulder problem. The climbing is really cool though, and it is very different than the pockets on the rest of the wall. The location is really cool too. the PG-13 rating is because you could hit the ledge behind you if you fell at the right place. I really enjoyed this climb, and I'll do it often. Aug 18, 2014

Maybe it was the sun in my eyes, but this seemed pretty reachy off of sandy sloped feet for 10-. My 5'1" partner usually flashes 5.10, but fell on this one. Mar 27, 2014
