Northern Lights Suggest change

First pitch: climb to the right of Powder in the Sky, passing three bolts and sharing the first belay station of P.I.T.S., at 5.c or 5.9.

Second pitch: pass a fixed pin leading to a 6c or 5.11c finger crack crux to some very pretty rock to a double bolt belay.

Descend with either with a 170 foot rappel or two shorter rappels.

The second pitch is excellent.

Upper East Buttress Suggest change

Start on the Upper East Buttress, immediately right of Powder in the Sky and left of Point Blank. This is less runout than the first pitch of P.I.T.S. and more fun.

Protection Suggest change

Bring 10 clips and double rack from RPs to #3 Friends.
