Description

40 feet left of Lander Turkey Shoot. Follow three bolts up, do a step across, and follow four bolts to the chains. Safe 5.6 route by Needles standards.

Protection

7 bolts. You could place a med/lg cam between bolts 3 and 4, but not needed.

Very worthy addition-- three stars for sure. Fun route with some interesting movement. The move just below the anchors where you had to flag way out left was a bit thought-provoking (though not really difficult). I'd rate it 5.7 but barely. I wouldn't argue much with 5.6... Jul 23, 2013

Easier than Lander next door. Share anchors. Able to top rope if you want off this route as there are now extended chain anchors. May 20, 2014

Fun route with a weird start, at least for me, to reach first bolt. After the step across, one of the higher bolts was below my knees and another was below my waist when I was able to clip them. Sep 3, 2014

Would agree on the bolt comment above, clipped three bolts at knee level, and on one of these three, without making another move, reached up and clipped the next bolt above my head. A good beginner route that is safe, even if the bolts seem to be in odd places.

For anyone who didn't know, Steve and John did do this route ground up. Aug 14, 2015
