Description

Climb the black slab on the left end of the main wall. Start off some boulders. It might not have enough holds to be climbable.

I got on this today, 2 bolts need to be moved, I spent an hour cleaning it up. It is actually going to be a really good route, consistent & brutal. I did all of the moves rather quickly, the crux is incredibly thin, like climbing a chalkboard. Jul 8, 2013
According to "Climbs of the Million Dollar Highway" by Jason Nelson, this route was bolted by Doug Byerly and named "Mater's Slab"... rated at 12b (10 bolts) which certainly seems more realistic. Any idea about this, William? Jul 6, 2018

Byerly never climbed it, Jason definitely didn’t, and most info in his book is bogus anyway. Once you send, feel free to post what you think the grade is. Jul 6, 2018
