Description

This was the 1st route established at the Watchtower with intent to open up the rest of the incredible features on the wall. I led up the obvious chimney on the far left side of the wall with a rack of gear to about 75' before needing to place 3 expansion bolts and then up to the anchor bolts. From here, Mark and I established all the anchors for the other routes... Rolling Stoned sat dormant for numerous years until in 2012 I re-routed the line of bolts(w/Dut) to climb the beautifully pocketed face to the right of the chimney. Now the entire pitch is protected with Titanium bolts and is the moderate "warm-up" for the wall...

Protection

Titanium bolts and a few treads... up to the 2-bolt Ti anchor
