Description

This is the stand start to the "steep" project on the shinobi boulder.
Start with a good 3 finger right hand crimp at about 6 feet, and poor left hand crimp. Move left to a positive crimp and then cross right to a little pinch/crimp. Bring left hand over to crimp and set up for the crux dyno to a good ledge. From the ledge move right on a sloper to a right hand pinch, heel the ledge and reach! Fun topout.
The obvious lowstart is still a project.

Location

Left side of the shinobi boulder.
From silver lake day use area take the trail by the picnic tables on the left. Follow the trail and the water for 15-20 min. The trail fades in and out but if you stay with the shore line you will pass many other boulders and eventually the big overhanging shinobi boulder.
There are 3 climbed lines so far.
