Description

An unusually good looking v0, and unlike most great v0s at Leavenworth, it isn't a slab. Climb the squeezing/lay-backing feature to a v0-level committing crux at the top. Fantastic for the beginning climber building outdoor confidence.

Location

Just left of One Summer on the boulder that is probably most fairly called The Real Thing Boulder (since The Real Thing is the best line on it). It's the left line on this face.

Protection

1-2 pads. Spotter maybe, but the fall is clean and the landing is flat.

[Hide Comment] Best warm-up for climbing in Forestlands, especially for new outdoor boulderers as well as up to V4 and above boulderers. Great movement, easy holds, and fun climbing. Also one of the few V0's of Leavenworth that is fun climbing and not slab. Aug 4, 2020

[Hide Comment] It's honestly cool that this problem feels appropriately spicy for V1. I feel like so many "classics" are just super tall and super scary and people who could climb those grades (Sleeping Lady comes to mind) are just too spooked. Not only is this problem great but it's also a great intro to a spicy topout but for a newer or less experienced climber. Really got dang good. Jun 17, 2021
