Description

Hard entry move. Can/should clip first bolt by leaning in from right.
Crux at start, and a solid .10 move getting to 4th bolt. The rest is steep, fun, positive.

Location

Scramble down (west) from Plane Crash and Fire Starter about 20 yards to the next formation/pinnacle. 'Just Do It' faces south, looks steep. The first five bolts are obvious/visible.

Protection

7 bolts, mussy hook anchors.

[Hide Comment] Area classic. It has a lot of great movement and a few relatively high exposure moves. Crux is off the ground and remains stiff thru the 4th bolt. After that it's glorious steep jugs! Jun 18, 2017

[Hide Comment] The crux was off the deck to just before the 3rd bolt. The section around the 4th bolt felt cruiser to me. There's also amazing rests at every clipping position from the 3rd bolt onward. Sweet jugs and hand jams up top. The slight "runout" after the 4th bolt is short, chill and on big holds, definitely not PG-13. All-in-all a stellar route, perhaps the best at Luther Spires. Oct 18, 2020

[Hide Comment] Gonna add another opinion on the crux: felt to me like the moves using the corner after the 4th bolt were harder than the start and before the 4th bolt. I guess it will all just depend on what your style is. If you're solid at the grade I would not stick clip the first bolt. The rope kind of got in my way and I had to work around it a bit. Climb this early, it gets all the sun and is miserable in the afternoon. Felt harder than Fire Starter. Aug 31, 2022
