Bolt Failures - Donations Help Details

Description

Scramble up a bulging slab. At the overhang, pull some airy and bouldery moves to get established above the wave. The name comes from the phenomenon of sport-focused climbers difficulty on this route, as opposed to crack-experienced climbers who find jams to ease the moves.

On most weekends, this little crag has classes of top-ropers climbing laps all over it.

Location

On Appentice Rock, on the other side of the North Parking area entrance trail. The obvious diagonal line through the middle of the "frozen tunnel wave" formation.

Protection

Gear to 3"

This could also be done as a boulder problem, but a crash landing would be R-rated.
