The Cerebral Scrub

Description

It trends left up and over rolling hills of granite. This is a great climb with the start being tricky. Bear hug the granite then use sidepulls to crimps. You do get intermittent rests with some creative balancing used mostly by circus trapeze artists. Overall a very fun climb.

Location

This is left of Uncensored Society. It appears to be new so more information would be great to have. I'm guessing on the rating. It may be 10d.

[Hide Comment] Be mindful of what you grab and put your feet on while climbing this route. There were a number of hollow sounding flakes and blocks that if came loose could cause serious injury to you, your belayer, and or anyone down canyon from the route. The route is not of the same quality as the other routes at the upper tiers. Also be cautious while cleaning or top roping the route as the anchors are fairly far left of the starting ramp and the rope runs over a fairly rough bulge. Aug 26, 2015

[Hide Comment] This climb is adventurous. Don't expect this to follow the bolt line, there is a lot of wondering and exploring here. Hope your head game is strong because some of the bolts may make one feel nervous. If you do fall, be peppered for a ripper and injury.

All in all- This route is trash, but I still thought it was worth doing because it is adventures.

With all that said it was fun, once I finished. Jul 8, 2022
