Description

Clip an anchor ring at the end of JCSM and continue up the bulge for 6 more clips. The intial steepest section has the best and deepest pockets. The route is continually demanding without ever being to cruxy. There aren't really any good rests so you have to just keep going.

Location

Climb Jesus Christ Super Man .10a and continue out the steep bulge. Just to the right of Black Narcisist .12b/c

Protection

15 bolts and sport anchor

This route is named 'Super Fortress' in the latest edition of the Huey guidebook. It is an instant classic that should not be overlooked. 5.10- crack climbing past a big, sketchy flake, gets you to the base of the beautiful headwall. 50 feet of pumpy climbing, on great stone, with marginal rests, guards the upper anchor.

This route will stretch your 60 meter rope. Tie a knot in the end!!

Another great Mike Snyder route. Thanks Mike! Aug 24, 2015
