There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Sport route that works as a higher quality and different approach to the ledge that Sky Chimney, White Satin, and Lycra start on.

Climbs the face to the right of the first pitch chimney of Sky Chimney.

It's a very mellow pitch with some chimneying, slab on a detached rock, and then moving into the larger face for the last half. Would be a good newbie lead. Easy to skip a bolt as it is very well protected. Jun 27, 2019
