Follow the sea of jugs up the slightly overhanging east face.

Crux is right off the ground and not very well protected. Traversing left around the crux makes the route 5.6


Start below the obvious horn, go straight up and follow the crack system to the top. Walk off to the west around the south side of the formation.


Gear to 3" and slings. Lasso the crux horn to protect the first moves.

10ft of webbing can be used to sling a boulder at the top for a bomber anchor.

More like the "East Arete" but you get the picture! Interesting old part-of-a-piton driven in near the crux.

Pretty juggy for a 5.7..."crank and go maybe a 5.6" but stop, think and place pro, it's probably 5.7. Nov 7, 2018
