Description

The Falcons Guide described it as a wretched flaring five inch crack. I disagree and thought it was very enjoyable. Start at the two finger cracks and continue up the fist to off fist sized crack for about five more feet until you come to a ledge. Climb the corner to your left to the top. The guide books rate this as 5.9+, I would give it more like a 5.9 or 5.8+.

Protection

A few hand fist and finger sized cams will do the job.

Yes, the destruction of the Devil's Chair was an act of vandalism as determined by the MN DNR. There was evidence that hydraulic jack(s) were used to leverage the blocks from their perch.

I guess since nobody has updated this.. Devils chair has fallen over. I heard rumor of vandalism, but I can't verify that. It may well have been natural erosion. I knew this when I posted the side view picture on the main page from the 70's. Dec 20, 2014
