Description

Make crux moves off the large flake block, then continue up the thoughtful and excellent brown streak and upper dihedral. The crux is a balancy sequence once you step left away from the dehedral about halfway up.

Location

This one starts directly above a detached block at the base.

Protection

8 bolts.

Lots of very thin holds that don't look permanent. Also there is some very large and very loose blocks at the start of the upper dihedral. While the climbing is fun (not great), the rock quality takes away from the overall quality of the route. Jun 20, 2013

This probably has cleaned up some over the years, and it's quite enjoyable. I wouldn't want to fall at the 2nd bolt, especially while clipping, but other than that, it's a great 10 in the canyon. Jun 25, 2015

The movement on this route is really engaging, committing, and sustained. Every move felt like a 5.10 move with no filler. The rock has definitely cleaned up well. The sequence between the first and second bolt is cruxy and gets you in the correct head space right away. Great climbing and amazing exposure. Jul 14, 2017
